Finally!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to write on this. The days here have been non-stop and very long, but sooo much fun!! So far, we have been to London, Paris, and are now in Amsterdam. IN order to catch everyone up, I'll just make a list of some things I have done or highlights of the trip:
* riding bikes through the gardens of Versailles....AMAZING! Talk about a palace! The gardens go as far as you can see and have gazeebos and fountains hidden through it (the pics don't even do it justice)

*seeing the Eiffel tower in a torenchal downpour with gale force winds...oh and did I mention we were all dressed in going out clothes...I've never been colder in my life
*walking through the red light district of Amsterdam...quite the experience. I've never seen anything like it
*mom and dad you'll be proud...I tried my first mussel in Paris and took a pic so you'll belive me
* eating the most delicious belgium waffle in Brussels. It had Belgium chocolate on it and whip cream!!!
When I get more time, I'll write in more detail. I love you and miss you all!!!

P.S. Jane....seeing foreign countries is not the same without my international traveling companion

I made it!!!

Hello all! Well I made it safely to London. It has been a long day of travel. Apparently, me and airports just don't get along and I have a new loathing for the TSA security people. Let's just say they kept giving me bad directions in San Francisco and I had to walk through 3 different security check points to get to the right terminal. But after all of that, I made it to my plane, uggage got here, and so far there are 7 people from the 50 that will be on my bus (only 1 boy so far...bummer) However, I think he will be a lot of fun to hang out with. Everyone so far is also in college. There is a huge group of girls from Kentucky and then Adam jsut graduated from Duke. We all went out to a local coffee shop and had some coffee and pastries since it was so early. They ahve a big dinner planned for the group tonight and then the MTV is supposedly putting on a party for us tonight so we'll see how that goes. No room assignment yet...I'll keep you updated on the rest of London but it's looking to be quite a fun trip!!!!
